Kiko Cosmetics/ Loving the Summer Trend

Kiko Cosmetics/ Loving the Summer Trend 1

Kiko is one of my favorite brands…affordable and amazing quality. The brand has a huge range of makeup products suitable for any skin tone. Their Summer collection really intrigued me and i was more than happy to pick up some of their fun products few weeks ago.

Tri-Bal Saul in 02 Mysterious Earth is a baked blush with three shades of colour. I would say this is my favorite product of all.

It is a peachy pink shade and it is great for those with light/medium skin tone. The colour pay off is amazing and it gives the perfect summer look on my cheeks. Not too pink and not too coral, somewhere in between for the perfect flushed cheeks. What i love about it is that sometimes i can use the three shades separately as a bronzer, blush and a highlighter or other times i just swirl my brush to mix up all the colours. I love, love how this shade transfer on my cheeks, especially when i am slightly tanned. The product itself is not chalky at all. It is very easy blendable, not powdery and it gives a nice, almost a satin finish on the cheeks. The fun part is that its smells of coco powder to me. I just love this blush so much! Packaging wise….hmm unique design… It is wooden box with magnets to hold it close. It has a mirror, which we all know it is quite handy. The only thing is that i find the packaging a bit heavy and big, so i wouldn’t consider it as a travel friendly. But overall i am just loving the product so far!

Kiko Unlimited Stylo Lipstick in No 14 is the perfect your lips but better kind of shade. It is nude lipstick with pink undertone and i am so glad i picked up this shade, as it is one of those fuss free, all occasions appropriate shades. Although, the texture of this Kiko lipstick is kind of tricky. When i apply it, it glides smoothly and it feels very buttery and comfortable on the lips. But after a minute or so it drys and it transfer to a semi-matte finish lipstick. This sounds cool, as this allows you to easier and more precise application, right? But after few minutes i have noticed that the lipstick settles into my lines, which was a bit disappointing. So to make it work, as i really love the shade, i found more convenient way of applying this lipstick by dabbing my finger over my lips after the application. This way i don’t end up with too much product on my lips and this method works pretty good for me. The lipstick is long lasting and it has the same coco scent like the blush. Personally i wouldn’t recommend this particular texture in bold lipstick colours and i would suggest you to stick to more neutral shades.

Kiko Crystal Eyeliner No 05 is a aqua blue shade with slight metallic finish. I was really impressed by the quality of this eye liner. This eyeliner pencil does not budge. Trust me! It is amazing! Ones applied it does not smudge or transfer anywhere. This is the perfect Summer shade. It reminds me of hot days on the beach or Summer nights out. This shade will look awesome and suite all girls with blue and brown eyes. The packaging is also awesome. It is twistable pencil, so it doesn’t need sharpening which is always a plus.

Kiko Power Pro Nail Lacquer are new addition to Kiko nail polish family. They are available in 45 stunning shades and i purchase two in Lime Green No 32 and Emerald No 34. I was on a hunt for that kind of shades in a very long time so i was glad i could finally add them to my collection. The colour of the nail polishes is opaque and 2 coats are enough for a perfect manicure. Kiko claims that they are salon-quality nail polishes with shiny colour up to seven days. In my opinion, they are an ordinary nail polishes with average of 3-4 days of lasting power. But for the price tag you can’t really go wrong. These Kiko nail polishes have wide brush, which makes the application much easier and quicker to apply.
