My Top Hair And Beauty Products I Loved In January/ 2016
Hair and beauty products you should definitely try
January was all about new hair and beauty products discoveries for me. Last month there was a definite love for healthier hair and pastels on my nails. Spring is nocking on the door and changing the burgundy lips and berry nails is essential to me.
I know, you might correct me as stylists say there is no particular idea of beauty any more and no one should follow trends. But switching to soft shades after Christmas suits my own taste and individuality. That’s what I tent to do every year and last month I enjoyed wearing a lot of soft pink on my lips, cheeks and nails.
Haircare and skincare
Last month I purchased my first haircare products from Lush. I went wild and I bought three shampoos, conditioner and a hair mask. Curly Wurly ( for review and pretty images click here ) and Godiva are my most loved of all.
Godiva is a bar shampoo and it is shampoo and conditioner in one. I was quite sceptical when the lady introduced me to bar shampoos ( What? Rubbing a
soap shampoo on my hair! No way! ) but it looked so irresistible that I had to take it home.
Godiva cleans and conditions with a host of nut oils and butters, and then leaves a heady, lingering scent of jasmine on your newly-glossy tresses. It’s stuffed with butters and oils to condition, moisturise and soften the hair: cocoa butter, cupuaçu butter, shea butter, camellia oil, organic macadamia nut oil and extra virgin coconut oil.
It makes my hair extremely soft and nourished. Godiva lathers very easily and it leaves delicate and feminine scent in my hair for days. It is very travel friendly… You can purchase one of their tins and store it in there. Godiva quickly became one of my hair and beauty best buys last month.
Sephora Tripple Action Cleansing Water is micellar water to remove your face and eye makeup. I have tried so many makeup removers with the same consistency but this is by far the best one. It removes makeup so effortlessly and what I love about it the most is that it leaves a nice healthy glow on my skin after each use. My skin looks hydrated, fresh and glowing of happiness. It is only $12 in Sephora and it is must, must have…
I have been all about soft pink lately. The makeup look I create using these kind of shades is very delicate and girly…
Rockateur by Benefit is a soft pink blusher with brown undertone. It gives the most flattering sheen on the cheeks. It is a gorgeous shade appropriate for any type of makeup look. It can be worn with bold lips, smokey eye or just simple “no makeup” makeup look. I love the packaging and the brush it is pretty decent quality too. It has been in my makeup routine every day throughout January.Top makeup and beauty products you should definitely add to your every day routine.Click To Tweet
Amazing Grace by Charlotte Tilbury – I have spoken about this lipstick so many times and I must say it is the best lipstick out there when it comes to texture and lasting power. Amazing Grace is a dusty rose with slightly red undertone. It is such a unique shade and it has matte finish. When I say matte finish I don’t mean one of those dry and uncomfortable textures. No, no, no… It apples so smoothly and it has silky feel on the lips. Amazing Grace last very long time after application and even if you eat and drink it does not budge. And the packaging is to die for…
Nude Rose 135 by Maybelline is another favourite product of mine. It is pastel baby pink and I have been wearing it a lot on my nails in the past month or so. Super Stay 7 days nail polishes are my favourite of all Maybelline collections. This particular range has a wide variety of colours and they all last on my nails for a long time. And what a pretty colour to help you take the winter blues away, huh!
