Spring Nails 2016/ The Season Of Pastels Is Back
My top picks for Spring nails this season
Getting bored of using the same dark winter colours? The season of pastels is just around the corner and the spring nails are already rocking the trends.
I know that Spring 2016 can offer us a lot of metallic shades and sparkles but muted pastel colours will always represent the start of warmer, sunnier days.
In today’s post I am sharing my top Spring nail polish recommendations to rock the new season trends.
Spring nails 2016:
Fiji by Essie is well known in the blogging community. It is a creamy pale pink (it looks almost like a white shade with hint of pink) and it is very feminine and elegant. It is great for Spring as it is very neutral and soft. This pale pink shade is appropriate for any occasions and it will compliment any day or night makeup look.
Did you ‘ear about Van Gogh? by OPI is the most unique nude I have ever come across. Sometimes nudes can be a bit boring or look pretty similar to each other but this shade is very different than anything I own. It is creamy beige with slight grey and yellow-y kinda undertone. It applies evenly and two coats are enough for opaque finish look.
Pit Stop by Barry M has always been one of my favourite shades ever. Dress your Spring nails with this gorgeous pale grey with lilac undertone nail polish… I really love the formula of Speedy Quick Dry nail polishes by Barry M. If you are always on the go this range is the right for you. Pit Spot is elegant and it is nude enough to be worn to work or any special occasions.Top nail polish picks for Spring'16. Another nail polish in my Spring nail colours picks is Nude Rose by Maybelline. It is a pastel nude pink. The shade is very girly and elegant. Super Stay range by Maybelline is favourite of mine. The nail lacquers are not streaky and last very long time on the nails. I love the wide slightly tapered brush. It gives an easy and precise application. One or two coats are enough for perfect manicure.
Heather by Collection is pastel mauve nail polish with grey undertone. It is gorgeous shade and for £1.99 price tag you can’t go wrong. It is part of Collection’s Field Day range and I will definitely recommend it for Spring and Summer. It has a hint of lilac but it is muted and it will suits all skin tones.
In a Heart Beat by Barry M is my newest addition. It is a pink with coral undertone and it is part of Speedy Quick Dry collection. I would say this shade is a little bit on the brighter side but still appropriate for Spring.
