The Charlotte Tilbury Splurge and Review
As i love testing new products all the time, especially if i don’t own anything from certain brand, i decided to splurge and hold Charlotte Tilbury products in my hands.
I had my eyes on these babies in a very long time. I am so glad i purchase them and i can show you how beautiful they are.
Amazing Grace is part of her Matte Revolution range and it is stunning dusty rose shade. It is very wearable and versatile colour. Great for any season, day or night out. This is why i decided to purchase this particular shade, as i can get a lot usage out of it. The pigmentation is fantastic and it glides so smoothly on the lips. I am a matte lipstick girl, so with no exception Amazing Grace has this kind of finish. Even though it is a matte lipstick, does not dry my lips. Actually, they feel quite moisturized and smooth, which did surprise me in a positive way. The lasting power is also 10 of 10. It lasts hours ( i would say 5-6 hours ) on the lips before starts fading. I almost feel like i have nothing on the lips when i wear it, it is very lightweight, if that make sense… I just can’t rave enough about this lipstick.
The Vintage Vamp is a quad eye shadow palette and it contains light pink shade with frosted finish and this Charlotte advice to apply as a base on your eye lid. The second shade is light burgundy colour and it has matte finish. I usually apply it on my crease and blend it upwards to enhance. Than comes the darker burgundy, which i apply just on the outer corner of my eye with pointed brush to give that smokey effect. The last shade is a light gold glitter and i apply a small amount in the middle of my lid for a bit of a pop and fun. I don’t own anything similar to these burgundy shades and this is why i thought this palette is kinda interesting. The shades really compliments each other and give a smokey look, but very wearable. I have small eyes and really dark eye makeup does not look good on me, as my eyes appear even smaller, but this quad does wonders. Love the quality, very pigmented and easy blendable.
The last, but not least is the very well known Filmstar Bronze & Glow. I have heard so many girlies talk about it and how gorgeous this product is, so i had to try it out myself. I am still excited i got it and i use it ever since. The texture of both is very silky and they blend so effortlessly on the skin. The Filmstar Bronze is medium brown and it has a satin finish. It might be a bit too light for olive skin tone and definitely too light for dark skin tone. The Filmstar Glow is champagne beige and it gives gorgeous sheen on the cheek bones. It gives very subtle and feminine look on your face.
