The Minimalist Fashion Style With Hint Of Edgy-ness
The Minimalist fashion/small details make a big difference
Throughout the years I have learnt how to adapt to the fashion trends to suit me in the best possible way. I have always been casual kinda girl, loving the simplicity in fashion but always looking to add some edgy feel to my outfit.
Today’s post is featuring one of my favourite clothing brands out there – Esprit… You might ask me why Esprit and I am just about to tell you…
This year designers are feeling nostalgic for 90s fashion trends so in 2016 they will pay attention on grunge and minimalist fashion style. Because our life tent to be full and fast now days designers will inspire us with sleek but less neat and formal clothes.Be a minimalist fashionista but still add a hint of edgy-ness.Click To Tweet
If I have to describe my fashion style using two words, I would say “minimalist fashion” … Yes, I am minimalist fashionista but I always focus on the small details when I choose my outfit. And this is why I love Esprit so much… They have such a wide range of styles and their designers always add something extra, some kinda pretty detail to make the clothes more catchy and worthy.
The cute patch
One of my favourite tops, which I own for years now, is this beige jumper with black leather patches on the elbows. It is simple and great for every day but with edgy feel to it. You can find many pieces like this in my closet. Plain but versatile jumpers which I can throw on any time. They can be worn with jeans, skirt and even over a dress. I like to play around and add staple necklace or a scarf too.
The zip details
Zips always add edgy feel to the outfit. This jumper is gorgeous burgundy colour and the detailing on it is awesome. It has golden zips on each shoulder and leather stripes for an extra fun. You can combine it with any type of jeans, trousers and even tracksuits ( SS16 catwalks suggest styling tracksuit with formal shirt or blouse ). I own so many jeans with zips and my recent favourite coat also have a chunky zips on its sleeves.
The pop of colour
This top is one of my favourite Spring/ Summer pieces. It is made of very delicate fabric and I love the pop of colour on the sleeve pattern. It will be too boring if designers created white top with dark blue stripes so why not add a bright yellow too… It is one of those slouchy jumpers that look fantastic with skinny jeans and heels or flats.
