Topshop Makeup Haul And Review

Topshop Makeup Haul And Review 1

Yeah, i know… i have been #feelingspendy for the past few weeks and here i come with another haul. I have been lusting to try some Topshop makeup, as i have heard great reviews about it. I was very tempted to give them a try, as i don’t own anything from their range.

Lip Bullet in It Takes Two is my most loved of all. It is red with orange undertone and it has a tiny specks of shimmer. It Takes Two is one of those wearble red lipsticks, which is great for every day use. It is very moisturizing and it has a bit of a stain power on the lips. The colour is very pigmented and i love to wear it with St-Paul-De-Vence duo eye shadows by NARS ( you can read my review here ). It is great combination…

Lip Bullet in There She Goes is very light pink and it has a satin finish. I wish it was more pigmented that it appears on the lips. It is lovely shade for dark smokey eyes or very natural look during the day. Just keep in mind that it is very sheer and i feel i have to apply few layers of it to show up on the lips. But if you enjoy more sheer and natural lip colours, you might like it more than i do 🙂 . It is very moisturizing, but i feel that it doesn’t last long on my lips.

I love the Lip Bullet packaging. They are all twistable and the pointed end of the lipstick gives such a easy and precise application.

Velvet Lips in Blood Orange is red with orange undertone and it is described as a highly pigmented lip cream with a matte finish. These babies are extremely long lasting. Ones applied on the lips, they do not budge. It is “dream come true” for red lip lovers, as you can eat and drink (even kiss) and the colour would not transfer anywhere. They can be a little bit drying on the lips, so for best result moisturize your lips before application.

Velvet Lips in Velveteen Ribbon is true blood red lip cream with matte finish. It is gorgeous bold red, very pigmented and i feel is more ” night out ” colour. Very chick and sophisticated.

If you are looking for all day lasting red lip products, these are the one…Great quality and i assume that they are pretty similar to Sephora Cream Lip Stain ( let me know if you have tried them ).

P.S. Don’t forget to moisturize your lips before applying them, otherwise they will feel quite drying on the lips.

I also purchase a Lip Liner in Wheels on Fire. To be honest i am not a lip liner girl, but i thought i will need one since i got so many red lip products. I can really see the difference when i use lip liner, especially with red lipsticks, as it helps the precise application of the lipstick.

Explorer Topshop Eyeshadow, great quality makeup, affordable makeup, long lasting makeup,

I am in love with this Mono Eyeshadow in Explorer. To me it is quite unique colour and i don’t own anything similar to it. It is described as a dark brown, but  i should say it is more coppery shade with slight mauvey undertone. It also has a tiny specks of glitter. What i love about it, is that it is one of these shades which you can wear on its own and it still looks like you have spent long doing your eye makeup. You just sweep it all over you lid, blend it very well and you are good to go.

Overall i am pretty impressed with Topshop makeup and will i definitely purchase more goodies in future.
